What is the What

What is the What is a very challenging and slow book to read. I feel the book does have some interesting stories but at the same time it can be very slow. I think that stories he shares about being a lost boy are the most interesting. I cant wait to discover more about his life in Kakuma. I did have a hard time when he was talking in the hospital I felt it was completely unnecessary. I tend to turn of at these parts. I read them but I dont try and make anything out of them. I do turn on during the stories and try and make something about it. But I think it is becoming easier probably because I think I have finally come to terms with the fact that the book has the parts. Still I think the only two things that keep me reading is the fact that we have to read it for class and that the stories about his life as a lost boy are very intriguing.

Blogging

The internet is a free space wich we should use to express ourselves. Blogging is important in an english classroom for it helps us express and ourselves and gain perspective. One my friends once posted about his experiences in Chiang Mai and what he felt through this trip. It was completely new to me and I had a totally different experience. It made me reevaluate my experiences in relation to me and the people around me. Blogging gave him the courage to post something that went against everyones else experiences and allowed him to be different and because of that post I have learnt how one situation has multiple reactions. Blogging has also helped the quietest people in my class bring out their points and perspective which is great because it gives a better understanding of what people think and do. Overall blogging is away to express yourselves and really say whats on your mind and letting it out to the world.

I actually much enjoy reading then writing the blogs

Australian Open

This year was a complete disappointment. There was no special surprise or anything interesting it was just plain boring. Then we have people saying that oh look Murray is a such a great player. Just because he won one grand slam. Going by that logic Hewitt is an outstanding player because he has win 2 grand slam titles. Double the amount Murray has won.
